Streamlined product portfolio and integration with KOSTAL's areas of expertise strengthen market position
Dortmund, October 7, 2025 – Compleo Charging Solutions is undergoing a strategic realignment to transform the challenges of a matured e-mobility market into opportunities for growth and innovation. As part of the KOSTAL Group, the company is sharpening its focus: high-quality charging technology with an emphasis on forward-looking innovations such as AC bidirectional charging is at the core of the new strategy. Hardware solutions remain a key pillar of the portfolio, while Compleo collaborates with KOSTAL to advance integrated systems that will play a vital role in the energy and mobility transition from 2028 onwards.
To bring this vision to life, Compleo is concentrating on market-leading technologies and strategically refining its product portfolio. This approach ensures resources are effectively pooled to drive innovative and sustainable solutions. As part of this focus, the AC charging station DUO remains a central cornerstone of the product strategy and will continue to be developed. It combines proven technology with state-of-the-art architecture, making it an ideal charging solution for numerous customers.
As part of this realignment, Compleo’s AC charging boxes eBOX and SOLO will remain available for order until early 2026, ensuring that customers can still access trusted charging infrastructure. Beyond this period, the focus will shift to new, forward-looking products. Additionally, the AC/DC charging pillar CITO 500 will no longer be part of the active portfolio. Nevertheless, existing devices will continue to be fully serviced and maintained. The high-power charger eTower 200 will remain actively offered for various use cases.
The streamlined product portfolio serves as the foundation for not only delivering modern and sustainable charging solutions to customers but also elevating the overall service experience. Process optimisation measures already implemented have significantly reduced response times. Compleo continuously reviews its processes and procedures to further enhance its service performance. In addition to the focus on products, the company is prioritising faster reaction times for on-site fault responses, as well as a notably more efficient spare parts supply chain.
Another key pillar of this realignment is the sales structure. Specialised teams are being established, especially in the DACH region, to enable closer customer interaction through local contacts. These targeted measures ensure that market needs are addressed precisely, with customers receiving direct support from Germany.
A critical facet of this strategic realignment also involves bolstering innovative capabilities. Further integration within the KOSTAL Group provides essential advantages for both Compleo and its customers.
