Compleo presents flexible and ultra-fast HPC solutions for current charging infrastructure challenges at Light + Building 2024

Visitors to hall 11.0, booth C46, will experience the latest HPC technology developed by Compleo with modular power electronics to significantly increase CPO sales.

Further highlights: Payment terminals in CITO 500, DUO ims and eTower 200 facilitate secure payment in accordance with AFIR and German calibration law.

Dortmund, February 26, 2024 – The electrification and digitalisation of home and building technology is the focus of the world's leading trade fair Light + Building 2024, which takes place in Frankfurt/Main from March 3 to 8. Compleo Charging Solutions, the leading full-service provider of charging technology for electric vehicles in Europe, will be exhibiting in hall 11.0 at booth C46. The KOSTAL Group company will be presenting its latest charging solutions, which are versatile, compliant with calibration law and equipped with state-of-the-art payment technology, taking e-mobility and charging infrastructure "made in Europe" to a new level. Technologies such as the CITO 500 with integrated payment terminal facilitate the timely fulfilment of requirements such as the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR) and German calibration law. At Compleo, energy experts, charge point operators (CPOs) and interested parties who are committed to a modern, urban infrastructure in favour of climate protection goals will receive insights on how to advance charging infrastructure in Germany and Europe. Another trade fair highlight at the Compleo stand is the HPC charger eTower 200: It scores with dynamic load allocation via seven power modules. CPOs benefit from more kilowatt hours sold and increased turnover.

The Compleo team designed, developed and manufactured the brand new eTower 200 and its power electronics entirely in-house. The high-power charging solution enables simultaneous charging at two charging points with up to 200 kW DC. Further advantages are its flexible set-up and ease of use. Even where space is limited and in noise-sensitive environments, the particularly quiet HPC solution supports ultra-fast charging. Compleo's software platform also offers numerous user-friendly functions that help to reduce complexity in the field of electromobility. This simplifies the management of charging stations and processes and improves the user experience. With the help of this software, operators can monetise their charging points more easily than ever before.

Compleo will also be exhibiting the CITO 500 in Frankfurt, which simplifies payment processes during charging via a payment terminal that complies with calibration law and AFIR. It is ideal for locations such as car dealerships or supermarket car parks where 50 kW charging is used instead of ultra-fast charging. At the CITO 500 DC charging station, vehicles can also be charged with up to 50 kW DC regardless of their charging power, which is often reduced to 11 kW AC. Compleo has equipped its DC solutions such as the CITO 500 with an integrated, fully approved payment terminal. The AC charging stations and the eBOX have display solutions on the hardware side for reliable implementation of the AFIR specifications and investment security for operators. Firmware updates can be used to easily implement new legally prescribed displays for secure and customer-friendly payment. Price components can be clearly displayed via QR codes. With the Compleo All-in-One AC charging stations DUO and DUO ims with 4.3-inch display, existing units can also be retrofitted with firmware updates to realise AFIR requirements.

"Whether it's ultra-fast charging for city hubs, the best possible equipment for large car parks with charging technology or a payment solution that complies with calibration law in accordance with the AFIR directive: modern charging infrastructure involves numerous challenges. Compleo is presenting fully authorised and quickly available innovations in Frankfurt that precisely address these requirements," reports Jörg Lohr, CEO of Compleo. The electrification of large car parks can be realised with the patented Power Rail technology of the DUO fleet AC charging stations, for example. Up to 30 charging stations can be connected in series and installation costs can be halved. The Compleo Service RCD of the DUO solutions also minimises testing costs during operation. In addition, load management is included as standard with the Compleo hardware. No additional hardware or software is required to configure static load management. Lohr adds: "Charging technology, as developed and offered by Compleo, is a central pillar of successful electrification and the energy transition. This is where we come in and this is exactly where we support users, energy suppliers and e-vehicle owners with solutions tailored to their needs. We are delighted to be able to present these innovations and their potential to an interested trade audience at Light + Building." Visitors to the trade fair will be able to see products such as the CITO 500, the DUO charging station and the eTower 200 in person and learn more about the many possible applications during live presentations.
