Techem and Compleo partner to support the demand-driven expansion of electromobility in the real estate sector
Strategic partnership combines expertise in real estate billing and intelligent AC charging infrastructure for large-scale landlords and commercial properties
Dortmund / Eschborn, July 8, 2026 – The expansion of charging infrastructure in residential and commercial properties is becoming increasingly important. Against this backdrop, Techem, a leading energy service provider for the real estate sector, and Compleo Charging Solutions are combining their expertise in a partnership for electromobility. The aim of the cooperation is to enable the scalable, nationwide expansion of charging infrastructure for office properties and public administrations across Germany. The focus is on equipping parking areas and multi-storey car parks at larger building complexes with future-ready AC charging solutions that meet the growing requirements of electromobility.
Techem is driving the electrification of buildings based on renewable energy and is addressing key areas of application in the energy transition with its solutions – from intelligent metering infrastructure to electromobility. In doing so, the company is strengthening its position as an integrated service partner at the interface of real estate, energy and mobility. Building on its many years of expertise in digitalisation, decarbonisation and energy efficiency, Techem creates the conditions needed to implement charging infrastructure as a key component of the energy transition in buildings in a legally compliant, efficient and scalable way. Through its partnership with Compleo, Techem is expanding its portfolio to include high-quality, field-proven AC charging solutions.
“The future of electromobility lies in intelligent, scalable solutions for the real estate sector. With Compleo, we have a partner who shares our ambition to integrate charging infrastructure into properties in an economically viable and future-ready way. Together, we are creating the conditions to establish electromobility at scale and further accelerate the decarbonisation of the building sector,” explains Matthias Hartmann, CEO of the Techem Group.
Focus on scalability and intelligent load management
The cooperation addresses the entire real estate ecosystem and combines Techem’s building energy management and billing expertise with Compleo’s intelligent hardware. When equipping larger building complexes, the focus is no longer on isolated wallboxes, but on the scalability of the overall solution.
Key requirements include daisy-chain wiring, intelligent load management, and simple, user-friendly operation. Compleo provides the right technological foundation for this: its patented Power-Rail technology enables multiple charging stations to be installed efficiently on a single cable line – and to be easily expanded at a later stage if demand for additional charging points increases. This is complemented by intelligent features such as the resettable Compleo Service RCD, which also includes an automatic self-test function. This reduces the need for service call-outs and manual on-site checks of the protective switch, lowering maintenance requirements and operating costs. The resulting cost benefits make it possible to offer attractive charging infrastructure solutions for property operators and their users. Together, the two companies are solving the complexity challenge for real estate managers and creating the basis for charging infrastructure to be planned, rolled out and operated efficiently in office buildings.
“The electrification of mobility requires future-ready and reliable solutions in the real estate sector,” says Dr Bjoern Dietrich, CEO of Compleo Charging Solutions. “By combining Techem’s deep integration into real estate processes with our intelligent hardware technology, we are jointly creating the conditions needed to integrate electromobility into real estate concepts in an economically viable and efficient way.”
